I don't think so...
Today I read a plaque on Pinterest which said, "Good moms have sticky floors, messy kitchens, laundry piles, dirty ovens, and happy kids." Hmmmm...I do believe I disagree with the sentiment. In fact, the idea that dirty homes produce happy kids sounds absolutely absurd! I don't think it's an either/or decision. It's possible to have both a clean house and happy kids. Don't obsess but don't be lazy either!

Thank you! I agree so much with you here. It's true that everything goes through being messy on its way back to being clean and tidy, so there is always going to be something to take care of, but putting it off does not accomplish anything unless you need a rest. Which is sometimes the case, of course~
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Eileen! The mere fact that there are people living in a house means there will always be stuff to clean up or put away. Putting it off only makes it harder later.
